Four-star cornerback Christian Tutt was down to Florida State and Alabama in his recruitment and it looks like the Crimson Tide's lack of cornerbacks and safeties in the 2017 class could end up helping them land the 2018 standout. The Georgia native just took his third visit to Tuscaloosa and has an announcement date of May 30th right around the corner.

However, if he were to make a commitment on the spot, he already knows where he would be going. He told 247Sports that the Crimson Tide are in the lead right now.
"If I were to commit today it would be Alabama," he said.
He detailed why exactly it would be Alabama who gets his commitment and it has everything to do with cornerback being a position of need for Saban and the Tide.
"Their secondary is leaving," Tutt said of the need at cornerback. "Basically their whole secondary is leaving and they're going to need some guys to come in and be ready to take over those spots. I'm gonna be that guy."
He also has a long standing relationship with Jeremy Pruitt who was the defensive coordinator at Georgia and now holds the position at Alabama. The 5'11", 193-pound CB plans to be in Tuscaloosa for A-Day and to take another visit to Florida State before he makes his decision next month.
