New report from @BruceFeldmanCFB says Locksley is *not* going to FAU. We've updated this story accordingly.

Lane Kiffin has been on fire recently with some his assistant coaching hires. He first nabbed Alabama strength and conditioning coach Wilson Love and then grabbed his brother Chris Kiffin from Ole Miss to coordinate the defense.

Now he's going to have another Alabama guy on his staff in Mike Locksley who was an offensive analyst for the Crimson Tide and will become Kiffin's offensive coordinator. Locksley is a former offensive coordinator at Maryland and head coach at New Mexico.

While Kiffin doesn't necessarily need help on the offensive side of the ball, Locksley is a great recruiter and knows exactly what Kiffin likes for his offenses so that definitely helps. The newly minted head coach will surely be looking to add to his staff and fill it out before the recruiting dead period ends so he can get there and help make his recruiting class solid before the February signing day.
