Lane Kiffin is not liked a whole lot by USC and Tennessee fans alike because they don't like how he left their respective programs. He finished his career as head coach at USC with a record of 28-15 in three seasons. That was enough for Kiffin to get quite the nice parting gift from the Trojans.

After being fired in 2013, Kiffin left USC with an extra $2.7 million owed to him during the 2014 season. To put that in perspective, USC's athletic director, Pat Haden, made $2.9 million that year.
Kiffin earned $680,000 in his first two campaigns with Alabama, and he's scheduled to make "only" $714,000 next season. It must be nice to double dip on your salary like that.
