Lane Kiffin spoke as a Broyles Award finalist, where he joined five others for a brief press conference Tuesday.
Kiffin thanked his wife, former coaches he's worked with and finally Saban.
"Coach Saban really took a chance on me when a lot of people wouldn't do it and has been phenomenal to me throughout the entire year," Kiffin said, via AL.com.
Then he joked about Saban's height, conversations on the sideline and why he isn't allowed to speak with the media.
