The media was not thrilled:
Arrests = "issues" RT @_DCReeves: Saban: I’ve never gotten rid of a guy after a second incident with drug and alcohol issues.

Saban's News Conference was his worst ever! This was not a press conference that needed to be won. That said, it was PR disaster. No doubt.

Agree with Paul Finebaum. Saban completely blew that press conference. He came across as defensive, arrogant & insensitive to situation.

Saban still hasn’t answered why it was ok to recruit a player with a pending DV charge.

Still, it’s on Saban. No reason for Jonathan Taylor to ever have received a third chance after two strikes (and one DV charge) at UGA.

Biggest disconnect in Saban remarks: A) Not sorry for admitting the kid, but B) we will learn from this. ... What's to learn if not sorry?
