Texas A&M's Myles Garrett has been at the top of everyone's NFL Mock Drafts thanks to his combination of size, speed and crazy stats. With the Cleveland Browns owning the first pick of the draft, they need all the help they can get and Garrett has the talent to make that defense somewhat respectable next season.

NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock believes that Garrett is a great prospect, but he might not be the best one in this draft. In fact, Mayock believes someone else from the conference might be the better in Alabama's Jonathan Allen.
Mayock: @AlabamaFTBL's Jonathan Allen is one of the 2 or 3 best players in this draft.

Here's his logic on why Allen might be a better pick than Garrett:
Mayock: Myles Garrett makes a ton of sense at No. 1. Jonathan Allen also has to be considered. Garrett - higher upside. Allen - safer pick.

RELATED: Jonathan Allen ended a three decade long drought for Alabama
Allen recorded 152 total tackles, 44.5 tackles for loss, 28 sacks and three forced fumbles over his career at Alabama. He really stood out in his junior and senior campaigns where he had double-digit sacks. Allen was the third-ranked outside linebacker and the No. 16 overall player in the 2013 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Allen has gone no later than No. 4 in any mock draft and could very well end up becoming the top overall pick if Mayock's right about Cleveland wanting to take a risk or not with the first pick in the draft.
