It's about that time of year where Nick Saban heads into the college football postseason after another successful campaign with the Tide. It's also the time of the year where the Alabama head coach gets queries from NFL teams about coming to the pro ranks.
And Tide fans will be ecstatic to learn that he's doing what he always does: referring those calls to his agent, Jimmy Sexton.
"I didn't talk to one NFL team last year, they know who to call: Jimmy Sexton has been with me for a long time," Saban said from the Peach Bowl in Atlanta's Georgia Dome, where his top-ranked Bama team prepares to take on Washington in the playoffs Saturday. "He calls me and says, 'Are you interested?' And I say no and that's it. That's as far as anything ever went with any team."

God only knows how accurate that is. Remember back in 2006 when Saban famously said he wasn't going to leave the Miami Dolphins to take the Alabama job, then hightailed it out of South Florida soon after?
Rest easy, though, Tide fans. At 65, Saban's getting a little long in the tooth to suddenly pick up and start anew in the NFL.
