Nick Saban is known for going off on rants given just about any topic that pertains to his football team. However, he went a completely route after a reporter asked a seemingly harmless question about Monday’s solar eclipse. He asked if there were plans to avoid it since looking right at it can actually cause serious eye damage. Here was Saban’s response:

Saban hit the reporter with some Weather Channel facts and said they’ve been showing what it’s going to look like already. He of course had not been making it part of his practice plans for the week and even named the one city where there’s going to be the best viewing!

He then went on to make fun of the question by sarcastically suggesting they have a team meeting about it to put something in place. Saban is surely desperate for the season to start so that he can rant about the meaningful things in life like polls, his players and his coaching staff.
