Last week, there was speculation Alabama could lose the SEC Championship Game to Florida and still make the playoff field. Well, Finebaum sent out a tweet earlier this week trolling college football fans by suggesting Alabama could lose to Washington in the College Football Playoff semifinals and still make the National Championship Game.

Finebaum was being funny, of course. It's win-or-go-home for the championship contenders from this point forward. Alabama takes on Washington on New Year's Eve, and the winner will face the winner of Clemson and Ohio State.
