The Crimson Tide have lost four regular season games over the last four seasons. Peter Burns of the SEC Network says you should expect Alabama to lose that many games this year... and then some.
Burns' comments stemmed from an interview on the Paul Finebaum show, where he iterated the same thing: that the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide would lose five games in 2015. For comparison, Alabama has not lost that many games in a season since 2007, when Nick Saban's first campaign in Tuscaloosa produced a 7-6 season.
Burns has some merit in citing a tough schedule for Alabama. They only have four true road games, but all four take place against what should be good or great teams in 2015: Georgia, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and Auburn. The Crimson Tide will also take on Wisconsin in the Cowboys Classic in Arlington to open the season. But with the way Alabama has performed under Saban since 2007, predicting five losses is a bit of a stretch.
