Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland is expected to be a first-round pick in this year's NFL Draft, and the highlight tape above shows just one of the reasons why: Ragland might be the hardest hitter available at the linebacker position.
The best part about these hits is that Ragland still shows a solid tackling base when making contact. He doesn't launch himself using his head; he just lines up with the shoulder or simply grabs his opponent as quickly as possible.
It will be interesting to see how he translates to NFL coverage, but one thing is for sure: he is not going to be afraid to hit anyone.
