That's right, 50 sacks on the year and 38 when the team rushes four players or less. The 50 sacks already leads the nation, but if you just counted those sacks when they rushed less than four players, the Crimson Tide would still be No. 9 in college football in sacks.
No wonder the Alabama defense has been so dominate this season, especially late in the year. Even when a quarterback escapes pressure, they still have to deal with seven defenders in coverage. Simply ridiculous.
