Alabama suspended guard Alphonse Taylor after he was arrested for a DUI and leaving the scene of an accident in July. However, it was reported that he blew a 0.00 on the breathalyzer test. That was enough for Colin Cowherd to condemn the actions though as he said on his podcast.
"But Alabama is loaded at guard! Alphonse Taylor got into some trouble. They suspended him indefinitely. Why don't you suspend the left tackle? Because you're thin at left tackle."
Well, Taylor was found not guilty of driving under the influence Tuesday morning according to Taylor's lawyer, Jason Neff.
"We are very happy with this ruling and hope that he will now have the opportunity to move forward with his football career," Neff said in a statement released to AL.com.
That should show Cowherd and maybe he'll think twice before snapping off on something he doesn't know a whole lot about. Eh. Probably not. He's going to talk anyway for the sake of talking.
