Throwback Thursday: Remembering an Alabama legend

For this week's Throwback Thursday, we remember a legend, Tommy Lewis, who passed away Sunday at age 83.

Lewis is better known for his infamous entry into the game from the sideline in the middle of a play to tackle Rice running back Dicky Moegle and temporarily prevent a touchdown.

He later explained, "I was just too full of Alabama," as the reason he made the touchdown-saving tackle. He loved his team so much, he couldn't resist stopping another team from scoring.
