Arkansas Trolls Florida With Hilarious Tweet After Win

Florida and Arkansas showed off in an epic SEC battle on Saturday in Gainesville, and the Razorback Football Twitter account had just as epic a response at the end of the game.

Arkansas entered the contest on a six-game losing streak, so you can see why the Razorbacks social team felt spicy after their 39-36 overtime victory over the Gators.

Their tweet of the final game score included a hysterical graphic featuring a man wearing a Big Red mascot head roundhouse kicking an alligator in the jaw. "Won't back  down," the accompanying caption read, in a jab at the Gators fans favorite Tom Petty song sung at every Florida home game.

Arkansas had a 2-6 record entering before this game and a victory over Florida would be the Razorbacks only hope at keeping any chance of a bowl game alive. Pundits and Vegas didn't like Arkansas chances against Florida, particularly on the road in Doak Campbell Stadium.

It was K.J. Jefferson and the Razorbacks offense that wouldn't back down in Gainesville on Saturday though.  Jefferson threw for 255 yards and 2 touchdowns while also rushing for 92 yards and score.

After the victory Arkansas is barely holding on to bowl eligibility hopes, and it will be tough for the Gators to reach a bowl as well. Florida has three games left at  13th ranked LSU, at 14th-ranked Missouri and at home against number four in the country Florida State. Finding a win in those three games will be a daunting task for Billy Napier's Gators.

Florida did have a chance to win this one at the end of the fourth quarter but kicker Trey Smack missed a 44-yard attempt to the right, and the game entered overtime. Jefferson's 4-yard touchdown pass to Tyrone Broden in overtime provided a desperate Arkansas team with a victory, and it provided college football twitter one of the better tweets you'll see this year.
