The early signing period is over, but the season of recruiting is still in full force.

In one of the biggest moves since the early signing period ended, three-star offensive tackle Luke Jones (6-foot-5, 290 pounds, Little Rock, AR) announce that he had flipped his commitment from Arkansas to Notre Dame.
At this time I would like to announce where I will become a student athlete in June. It was a difficult decision. I would like to thank Coach Morris, the Arkansas coaching staff, and the Arkansas fans for being so supportive to me during my time of being recruited by Arkansas. After a lot of praying and thinking I have decided that at this time it is in my best interest to commit to the University of Notre Dame! I'm very excited to enroll there as a student athlete and I will be signing with Notre Dame on February 7th. I will always love Arkansas and I hope that everyone here will respect my decision with this next stage of my life.
Jones is a highly-ranked three-star, and he rates as one of the Top 50 offensive tackles of the 2018 class. He was one of Arkansas's highest-rated commits before the flip, but now the Arkansas class — currently 70th in the nation per 247Sports — is in even further shambles following this coaching change from Bret Bielema to Chad Morris.
Luckily for Morris, this is about as rock bottom as the program can be, so he should be able to get to work on the recruiting trail over the next year.
For Notre Dame, Jones becomes the 22nd member of their 2018 recruiting class. Almost all of Notre Dame's commits have signed already.
