Auburn fans can let out sigh of relief with news of QB being cleared for enrollment

This is definitely some news Auburn needed.

Auburn fans were pretty excited when dual-threat quarterback Woody Barrett out of Orlando, Florida committed to the Tigers last summer. Then they got scared when the Orlando Sentinel reported that Barrett hadn't met SAT requirements to get into Auburn.

It seems as if that won't be a problem anymore and he will be on campus and get a chance at starting right away for the Tiger. And Barrett knows he's good to go because he's sending out tweets about it:

Barrett believes he has a shot at taking the job from John Franklin III, Jeremy Johnson and Sean White. Most fans would probably say they would be fine with Barrett relieving Johnson of his duties as he struggled throughout the season throwing 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Barrett is rated the nation's No. 6 dual-threat quarterback, weighs 232 pounds and is pretty hard to bring down to the turf. He's raw, but Auburn's coaches are excited about what they can mold him into and do with his physical abilities.
