Auburn got a surprise commitment and one just in time for the class of 2016. Stephen Davis Jr. is a legacy recruit for the Tigers as his dad played running back for them from 1993 to 1995 and rushed for over 2,800 yards and 30 touchdowns during that time. The younger Davis just became a full qualifier after surviving some academic troubles and he's going to the one place that would make dad proud.

And it looks like he will be ready to go right away as he's academically eligible now.
#STRecruiting: Stephen Davis Jr. said he's a full qualifier and will enroll at Auburn July 31st. Not sure which position he will play.

Davis Jr. is a four-star athlete out of Irmo, S.C. and is the No. 15 athlete in the country. 247Sports also rates him as the No. 6 recruit in South Carolina. the 6'4", 215-pounder could play at a number of positions and like the previous tweet says, no one really knows which one. That could give him a good opportunity to play right away as well.
