The Tigers made a big pickup on Saturday with 2017 running back Alaric Williams (6-foot, 195 pounds, Ashville, Ala., Southside School) announcing his commitment to Auburn.

Williams is rated four-stars by 247Sports, and is ranked the No. 8 athlete and No. 87 recruit of the entire 2017 class. Williams is the second pickup for Auburn's 2017 class, with the other being five-star offensive lineman Calvin Ashley. The two players represent a solid base for coach Gus Malzahn to build on for the future.
