Auburn WR among victims from Elijah Daniel's alleged burglaries

As reported by AL.com, Auburn wide receiver Stanton Truitt is an alleged victim in the burglary cases surrounding former Tigers defensive lineman Elijah Daniel.

Daniel, former walk-on linebacker DeNorris James and former track walk-on Khalil Sellers are accused of stealing a Apple Macbook laptop and Tag Heuer watch from Stanton Truitt, a sophomore wide receiver and former teammate of Daniel and James, according to court documents.

Daniel was a key part of the Tigers defense last year, leading the team with 17 quarterback hurries. He was dismissed from the team back in April after his arrest.

He and the two other former Auburn athletes are accused of stealing a myriad of things — including Xbox game consoles and jewelry — from the Auburn athlete's dorm complex over spring break. They had a court appearance on Wednesday morning, where the three are facing a combined 28 counts, 14 for theft and 14 for burglary.
