Former Auburn linebacker Kevin Greene is an NFL Hall of Famer and was the SEC's Defensive Player of the Year in 1984 after starting out as a walk-on. He played for four different teams including the Carolina Panthers twice during his career and was a five-time Pro Bowler.

He was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 1996 and was a three-time first-team All-Pro. He made the 1990s All-Decade Team and was the league's sacks leader twice. After he retired, Greene joined the Green Bay Packers staff as the outside linebackers coach in 2009 and held the position until 2013.
He retired from coaching to be with his family until his kids went to college and it seems now that he is ready to get back in the game and has been hired.
The 2016 NFL Hall of Famer should help to improve a pretty awful defense and it will be nice to see him on the sideline as well.
