Borges coached at San Jose State over the past two seasons.
Borges helped Auburn to a 13-0 record in his first season as offensive coordinator thanks to the talented quarterback Jason Campbell and two-headed monster of running backs Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown.
He left the program after the 2007 season. He coached a few years at San Diego State before coaching under Brady Hoke at Michigan.
