Sherwood also had offers from Georgia, Miami, and Oregon, among others. However, Auburn got the win here, and as always, head coach Gus Malzahn was happy about the news of his newest commitment.

The commitment comes after Sherwood had taken an unofficial visit to Auburn this past weekend.
Sherwood, rated as a four-star by Rivals, is the 11th commitment for Auburn's 2018 recruiting class. It's been a big month for Malzahn and the Tigers in recruiting, as they locked down four commitments for 2018 just this month.
