WOW.

Texas head coach Tom Herman appears to have picked up a big name for his Longhorns team, as Brett McMurphy — formerly of ESPN — reported on Tuesday that Auburn offensive line coach Herb Hand will be heading to Texas.

Hand has been with Auburn for two seasons, having previously worked with James Franklin at both Vanderbilt and Penn State.

Hand had been an active recruiter for Auburn over the past two years, and now it looks like he is taking those talents to Texas. Hand bring another coach with diverse experience in recruiting to Herman's staff, which is looking to build off of a top recruiting class in 2018.

With the move, it looks like Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn will have to make a corresponding move as the college football coaching carousel continues to move.
