Report: Auburn signee still has ways to go before becoming eligible

That's not good for the Auburn

Former South Carolina commit and Auburn signee Marlon Character Jr. was supposed to be enrolled in classes for summer, but that isn't happening now. Character Jr. still needs to improve his grades in an online course and retake the ACT according to a report.

"He's been trying to infuse studying for the test and taking the online with staying in shape and working out and training," his father Marlon Character Sr. told AL.com

The 6'0", 170-pound safety out of Grady High School in Atlanta, Georgia still has some academic hurdles to clear if he wants to get on the field for the Tigers. He was rated a three-star prospect in the class of 2016 and was the No. 18 safety in the class.
