In what seems like some good news, three-star defensive tackle Tashawn Manning (6-foot-4, 270 pounds, Apopka, FL) will be able to sign his Letter of Intent with Auburn on Wednesday after being granted as an NCAA waiver.

Manning was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia in November, and began chemotherapy treatments shortly afterwards. After some concern from Manning and Auburn, it appears that the NCAA will grant a waiver to allow Manning to delay his football eligibility until he is healthy enough to compete.
Hopefully Manning will get to compete, because we would all be happy to see him to get back on the football field.
