Former Alabama quarterback Blake Sims isn't done with his NFL dream just yet. Sims was a fan favorite while at Alabama and lead the Tide to the 2014 national championship. Sims played several positions while in Tuscaloosa before settling under center at QB. After graduating Sims wasn't able to crack the NFL as a quarterback and he wasn't able to find a home in the CFL at the position either.
So now Sims is trying one of his old positions, running back, to make his NFL dream a reality. Sims has been working at the position and has earned workouts with the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Sims has the skills to be a dangerous runner for a team that can find a fit for him within their system. His willingness to try a different position also shows his determination and work ethic. Hopefully the former Tide star will be able to find a home in the NFL.
