Bovada released a myriad of odds for conference championships on Wednesday, and the set of odds for the SEC have some particularly peculiar bets available. Take a look at each teams odds for the conference title. (division title odds in parentheses)
SEC West
Alabama: 7/4 (10/13)
Arkansas: 20/1 (14/1)
Auburn: 18/1 (7/1)
LSU: 7/2 (9/4)
Miss St: 50/1 (20/1)
Ole Miss: 10/1 (12/1)
Texas A&M: 16/1 (14/1)
SEC East
Florida: 18/1 (9/2)
Georgia: 9/1 (2/1)
Kentucky: 25/1 (50/1)
Missouri: 50/1 (16/1)
South Carolina: 66/1 (25/1)
Tennessee: 7/2 (4/5)
Vanderbilt: 100/1 (25/1)
Alabama being the overall favorite is no surprise, but Tennessee starting off with such favorable odds out of the East might be a bit shocking to some people. Sure, the Vols are the favorite to win the East among the media, but you figure that Georgia and Florida would have enough power to give them a run in the odds game.

Speaking of Florida: them at 18/1 might be an interesting value. Might be worth taking if you are looking for a bet to hedge with.
Now, here is where we get into some of the fun stuff. Let's take a look at the SEC West. As you may notice from the table above, Auburn is at 7/1 odds to win the West, which seems rather high after their lackluster 2015 season. Where it starts to get weird is when you compare SEC West odds to SEC Champion odds. Let's take a closer look:
SEC West
Auburn: 18/1 (7/1)
Ole Miss: 10/1 (12/1)
Texas A&M: 16/1 (14/1)
How does that happen???
Maybe the Auburn West odds were just an oversight, or the oddsmaker just has a lot of faith in them to win the division title, and then lose the conference title. And extreme faith in Ole Miss to do the opposite.
Either way, Alabama will be looking to repeat as SEC Champions for the third straight year.
