Sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts had a nice season in 2016-17 for the Crimson Tide, especially considering he was a true freshman, but Hurts was a four-star recruit that beat out several other talent quarterbacks for the highly coveted Alabama starting quarterback job.
Enter five-star freshman quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who came to Tuscaloosa as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in his class according to 247sports, and one college football analyst thinks Tagovailoa is going to take the starting gig away from Hurts by the end of the 2017 season.

Hurts threw for 2,780 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2016 for the Crimson Tide.
