Derrick Henry changes number to honor former Tide teammate

Derrick Henry has worn the number two just about his entire football life and while he has been able to keep the number through the preseason, things are about to change for Henry. Henry had been able to keep his number two during much of the preseason, however NFL rules have express guidelines for who wears what number, with running backs having to choose between the numbers 20 and 49.

So naturally when Henry was told he had to switch to a new number, he decided his new number wasn't going to be just chance or selfishness. Instead Henry did a remarkable thing, he took on the number of his former friend and teammate Altee Tenpenny.

What a classy move by a great friend.
