Florida's top tackler, Jarrad Davis, suffered what appeared to be a devastating injury during last week's contest against Missouri. That's not stopping head coach Jim McElwain from offering a positive outlook for the Gator's contest against Georgia, per SEC Country:

"Jarrad is doing everything he can," McElwain said. "Of course, him being from south Georgia, this is one of those games for his senior year, he'll do everything in his power to come back.
"...And I would not count him out. He's one of those guys I wouldn't count out at all, let's put it that way. If it was somebody else I might count them out, but not Jarrad."
Davis' injury didn't look too serious:

But reports afterward showed something serious.

Davis is considered a game-time decision as he attempts to return from a sprain.
