Four-star offensive guard Dontae Lucas was impressed by Florida during a campus visit this past weekend.
" I feel like I'm at home," Lucas told Scout.com on Saturday. "Everything is good."
The 2019 prospect took in Saturday's game against Texas A&M, which resulted in a 19-17 loss for the Gators. Still, the team may have scored a long-term win by reaffirming Lucas' interest, months after the guard initially visited Gainesville for Friday Night Lights in July.
Though he listed Florida as a favorite, the four-star lineman doesn't plan on announcing his commitment until after his junior season.
"On this visit, Florida made me feel like this could be where I want to be," he said. "Florida is one of my tops. We'll know after this season where I'm committed to. It's either Miami, Bama, Florida... Auburn. It's a lot. I'll drop my top 10 and then we'll know."
Lucas currently ranks as the No. 9 offensive guard, No. 39 player from the state of Florida and No. 239 overall prospect for the 2019 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Lucas told Scout that Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Oregon have recruited him the hardest as he continues to mull over his college decision. He is expected to take an official visit to Alabama next week.
