With signing day approaching, every second you can spend on campus at a school that is near the top of your list becomes vital. But for Byron Cowart, a five-star defensive end recruit, that didn't happen on Saturday. When he was on his official visit at the University of Florida, Cowart had to cut it short because his mom got called into work.

With Auburn and Florida battling for Cowart's services, every second he spends with Florida matters. He already has a great relationship with Tigers defensive coordinator Will Muschamp. Cowart pretty much needed to start his recruitment all over with Florida because of the new coaching staff.
But Cowart leaving early had nothing to do with him not being interested in the Gators anymore, and he took to Twitter to clarify that.

Cowart will make his decision on where he will play ball on National Signing Day, which is on Feb. 4th.
