Florida lands verbal commit from a four-star 2016 wide receiver

Florida's 2016 class picked up its 21st member on Friday afternoon.

Jim McElwain and Florida football fans got some good news on Friday afternoon, as the program added a new addition the the 2016 recruiting class. Wide receiver Freddie Swain (6-foot-1, 188 pounds, North Marion High) a four-star wideout announced he was verbally committing to Florida during an announcement at his high school, North Marion.

As the 29th ranked receiver in the country per 247Sports, Swain will be a talented addition to the class. As a senior this season, Swain already has 22 receptions for 361 yards. Swain picked Florida over USC, LSU and South Carolina.
