Florida's defense has been dominant this season and that's no surprise to anyone. It's had to compensate for a bad defense all season, but that hasn't stopped it from limiting teams at home and going perfect there this season. In fact, the team did something that hasn't been done since Steve Spurrier was a player!

That season the Gators only played 10 total games and five of them at home so the two seasons are actually pretty comparable. While the Gators will likely play one or two more games total —- depending on an SEC Championship game appearance —- they also only played five games at home.

That 1964 team only allowed 32 points at home against the likes of Southern Methodist, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Auburn and Miami. This year's Gators allowed 35 points at home against, Kentucky, UMass, North Texas, Missouri and South Carolina.
