The Florida offensive line getting better is a point of emphasis for coach Jim McElwain this year and with it should come an improved running game as well as passing game. However, it looks like it will have to happen without one of the beefiest guys up front the Gators have.

Redshirt sophomore Brandon Sandifer got on campus as a 357-pound lineman, but will be leaving it in a little better shape at 323 pounds according to Florida's official roster. He was rated as the No. 40 offensive guard coming out of high school in the 2015 class according to 247Sports.
The Georgia native had not been at the team's practices, and coach McElwain said he will move on.
"He's no longer with us," McElwain said. "He's going to move on."
Sandifer appeared in just two games as a reserve early in 2016 after redshirting in his first year on campus in 2015.
