Florida was expecting to play against Florida State without its best defender in Jarrad Davis. However, the linebacker and Butkus Award finalist looked like he could very well be available to play.

More importantly, Jarrad Davis is running pretty well in warmups. I'd say now there's a good chance he suits up for #Gators.

#Gators LB Jarrad Davis did make the trip to Tallahassee. Did not travel to Baton Rouge last week.

The team's heart and soul on defense wasn't there against LSU in Baton Rouge but might give the Gators the edge they need in this huge rivalry game. It looks like he will have to do it from the sideline though as he gave the Florida fans a bit of a tease.

While Davis won't play against FSU, he could definitely be back for the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta next week as most observers noted that Davis looked good in warmups.
#Gators LB Jarrad Davis is out on field in pregame warmups with position group. Moving around OK. No update on official status.

Davis could still have an impact on this game from the sideline considering he's the heart and soul of the team, but that tease before the big rivalry game might have been a preview of what to expect next week in Atlanta.
Jarrad Davis out of the locker room again and in a jersey and sweats. Likely out tonight.
Thinking he was testing ankle for SECCG. #Gators

Hopefully he can make a difference on the field next week when it matters most against Alabama and help cause some chaos in the College Football Playoff.
