Treon Harris was definitely not a fan favorite during his tenure at Florida as he completed a measly 50.3 percent of his passes and never seemed to make the right play —- at least that's what Gators fans would tell you. The 5'11", 195-pound quarterback decided to transfer after the 2015 season as it either ride the bench or try to switch to become a wide receiver and it looks like it's paid off as he's about to become a starter again.

The latter option was less than ideal for Harris so he decided to transfer out and landed at Tennessee State. He sat out a year per NCAA transfer rules and will be eligible to play now for the 2017 season. Expected TSU starter O'Shay Ackerman-Carter has suffered season-ending injuries the past two seasons and was granted a release from his scholarship so he could go somewhere closer to home.
That is what has led to many people believing that he will become the starter now despite accruing only 2,695 passing yards, 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in two seasons.
