Four-star cornerback Marco Wilson (6-foot-0, 180 pounds, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) has made his decision about where he'll attend college. On Monday evening Wilson, the younger brother of current Florida cornerback Quincy Wilson, announced that he was verbally committing to Florida. He chose the Gators over a number of big-time offers including Miami, Michigan, Georgia, Alabama and several others. He made his decision live on-air with Gridiron Studs radio.
"There have been a lot of ups and downs in the process," he said via Scout.com. "There are a lot of coaches that stuck with me.... But the best choice for me is to commit to the University of Florida."
With Wilson's commitment, Florida's 2017 class is now up to 13 verbal commits. Per 247Sports the class checks in at 8th in the SEC.
