One day after receiving an offer from the Florida Gators, the team landed its 13th commit for the class of 2016 when Theodore, Ala. running back Lamical Perine verbally committed. The 3-star, 5-foot-11, 210-pound high schooler committed to Florida over Mississippi State.

"It's just the Swamp," Perine said of Florida, via 247Sports. "It's one of the best places in the nation to play. I love it."
Running backs coach Tim Skipper played a big role in Perine's recruitment.
"We're building a good relationship right now," Perine said of Skipper. "He's a real down to earth guy and I like him."
