It looks like recruits are believing in head coach Jim McElwain's model. In his first full recruiting cycle, the Gators currently rank inside the top 10 for the class of 2016. Florida jumped up three spots on Thursday after adding WR Joshua Hammond, who is the brother of former Gators WR Frankie Hammond.

The 6-foot-1 wide receiver from Hallandale, Fla., is listed as a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports. Hammond becomes Florida's 14th commit in the 2016 class and third receiver, joining Rick Wells and Isaiah Johnson. With the addition of Hammond, the Gators now have the 10th best class in the nation.
Hammond also had offers from Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, among others.
