Four-star LB Ge'Mon Eaford says he only likes one team in his home state

That's quite odd.

Ge'Mon Eaford, a four-star linebacker prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, doesn't seem to love the state of Florida much.

I kid, but only slightly, as just one team from the state is on the prospect's mind.

"Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Oregon, Arkansas, and a few others," Eaford told 247Sports. "There are really a lot of schools staying after me the most that I like. Those schools do a good job of producing linebackers. Florida is the only school that I really like that is in the home state. Everyone else I don't really like."

Obviously, as you can tell, he's a byproduct of the state itself. Despite that, only the Gators are in his good graces.

"It doesn't really matter you know I will play anywhere," Eaford said. "I just like the Gators. They are a few hours away and my family is right there. They can come see me and not have to do too much."

The talented linebacker also went on to state he plans on committing in August.

According to 247Sports, Eaford is is the No. 13 outside linebacker and No. 33 ranked prospect in the state of Florida.
