Jalen Tabor makes crazy promise, says he could be best DB in the SEC ever

Does the young man have too much confidence?

Florida's Jalen Tabor is not shy about speaking his mind as he's taken shots at LSU for not being "the real DBU" and Tennessee for thinking the Vols can actually beat Florida this year. Now he's got the NFL Draft on his mind since it just happened this month and his good friend and secondary mate Vernon Hargreaves III was taken in the first round.

Tabor named some of the best defensive backs to come out of the Southeastern Conference and what pick was used on them:

That's a pretty impressive group of DBs to get drafted in the first round that includes Hargreaves, Joe Haden and Patrick Peterson (from LSU). Tabor was feeling pretty good about his chances to go high and then came his bold promise to become the greatest defensive back the conference has ever seen.

Tabor was considered the better cornerback compared to Hargreaves for a lot of the season because of his team-high four interceptions and two pick-sixes.He also broke up more passes than VH3 (14 to 4) on his way to making the All-SEC first team.

Tabor wasn't done making promises and predictions as he claimed that would do something a defensive player hasn't done since 1997 when Charles Woodson won the Heisman.

And lucky for him, he already knows how this social media thing works so he's prepared for the criticism and the praise when it comes.

Hopefully his play can back up his talk because it is pretty big right now.
