Florida gets one playmaker back from suspension ahead of Week 2 showdown

This should be good for the team.

Florida head coach Jim McElwain has gone to bat for James Robinson more times than he would care to count. The receiver was recently cited for marijuana possession and was cited for the same thing on an official visit to Ohio State earlier this year. The second citation forced the coach to suspend Robinson for the Michigan game, but it looks like that will be the only game he misses.

Coach McElwain announced during a press conference on Monday that Robinson's suspension has been served and he will be playing against Northern Colorado this coming week.

"He'd be back this week," McElwain said. "He had his suspension last week."

The other nine players suspended in connection with the financial aid misuse are still serving their suspension as that is out of the hands of the coach.
