He is headed down to the IMG Academy this weekend for the National Football Association 7v7 National Championship. On his way back up to Kennesaw, Ga. he will be stopping at Gainesville and taking another visit there —- he took an unofficial one while he was still committed to Penn State. He's already taken visits to the others three schools after his decommitment so the Gators will have a chance to make the last impression on him before he commits.
He told SEC Country that there are five Florida coaches texting him every day so that should bode well for the staff and team as they are clearly trying to put in the work. The Gators have been on Fields since January and we will have to wait a bit longer to see if it pays off or not for the class of 2018.
The 6'3", 221-pound Fields is ranked as the No. 3 recruit in the country and the No. 2 recruit in the state of Georgia behind the nation's top recruit in Xavier Thomas.
