Florida head coach Dan Mullen was hoping to retain offensive line coach Brad Davis according to FootballScoop, but it looks like those plans failed as Davis has taken another job. It's official as Missouri football made the announcement that they hired Davis to the same position for them.
The offensive line for Florida helped the Gators average about 156 rushing yards a game and with Missouri's already potent offense, any improvement Davis can bring to that line will be huge. And he'll see the Gators every year since the Tigers are in the SEC East so that should be a delightfully awkward exchange.
Davis has spent time as an offensive line coach at several stops including North Texas, Portland State, East Carolina and James Madison. He was also a graduate assistant North Carolina and Texas A&M.
