Florida QB calls out 'fair weather' fans after Alabama loss

Seems a little hypocritical.

Florida players were pretty upset after the 54-16 loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game and had every right to be. Gators quarterback Austin Appleby didn't help their reputation as a poor offensive team throwing three interceptions in the game.

That made plenty of Florida fans understandably upset as the offense got off to a nice drive early in the first quarter that resulted in a touchdown. Those same Gators fans are still upset on Sunday and some are calling for coach Jim McElwain to go. Even though he's the only coach in SEC history to go to the conference championship game in both of his first two years.

That's led to another Florida quarterback to call out all the haters even though it's kind of hypocritical.

It's hypocritical because Del Rio left Alabama once he realized he wasn't going to play and transferred from Oregon State to Florida for the same reason. But hey, it's only the fans that have to be there in all kinds of weather, right?
