Richard Gouraige is being heavily recruited by a ton of SEC schools and even has over 35 offers to play college football. It's not hard to see why as he stands 6'5" and weighs 271 pounds and is rated as a four-star recruit. He spoke with Luke Stampini of 247Sports about his recruitment so far into the summer and says there's still one school that is clearly out in front for him.
"Florida leads right now. You can't get better than the Swamp and I like Coach Mac and all those guys. I always communicate with the players and all the coaches on the staff. They love what they are doing and they are building something new."

Offensive line coach Brad Davis has had a great relationship with Gouraige and has made it clear he is a priority in the class of 2018 for the Gators. Davis has also made it clear that the big offensive lineman could see early playing time when he gets to campus. Gouraige also noted LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Ohio State, Auburn and North Carolina as other schools in contention. He is still unsure of when he would like to make a final decision.
The Tampa native is ranked as the No. 10 OT in the country and No. 22 recruit in the state of Florida according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He also holds offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State and Michigan as well as quite a few others.
