Trask is expected to miss 4-6 weeks while recovering from a torn meniscus, per Gator Country. He's expected to be back for fall camp.
Del Rio injured his non-throwing shoulder previously in 2016 and was held out of the last few games of the season because of it. He started six games before getting injured against Arkansas in November and recorded 1,358 passing yards with eight touchdowns and as many interceptions.
To clarify: This surgery is a minor one on his throwing shoulder. Previously had surgery on his non-throwing shoulder. #Gators

Redshirt freshmen Kyle Trask and Feleipe Franks took over on offense, pushing Franks ahead heading into the summer:
"He's ahead," McElwain said. "He played decent."
"I think he's ahead, there's no doubt about it. We'll find out over the summer. We've still got Phase 4, 5 and 6 to go, so we're halfway there."
The injury comes as news swirls on a potential Malik Zaire transfer to Florida.
