Tim Tebow recently announced that he would be holding a tryout for MLB teams since his pro football career is pretty much over. He played baseball in high school and was quite good as he was almost drafted by the Angels straight out of high school.

Tebow said he would hold a tryout for teams interested in him and now we have a date on that.
According to ESPN, there will be 20 teams to check him out at his workout —- that's two-thirds of the league for those counting. Tebow has not played baseball full-time since he was in high school in 2005 when he was an all-state baseball player in Florida that year and hit .494 as a junior, helping Nease High School reach the final four of the Florida state playoffs.

He also had some interest before the season started as he had a tryout with the Los Angeles Dodgers before this season, sources have told ESPN's Darren Rovell. A scout was present for the workout and the team showed interest in Tebow afterward, the sources said.

Naturally, Tebow is most known for winning a Heisman and winning two National Championships with the Florida Gators before getting drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He was also in training camp with the New England Patriots in 2013 and Philadelphia Eagles in 2015 before getting cut before the season both times.
